I agree Heather!

Technology should not be used just to use it, but prayerful consideration should be taken before its use, and I believe that it has a huge potential for the Kingdom, but please follow Heather's advice and use it for the Kingdom creatively. And don't be afraid to make a few mistakes while using it, but make sure it is for the right reasons.

Thanks for the podcast with Leonard Sweet. I loved that he pointed out that Jesus was always on the fringes, but that God has already shifted into a Google mindset for being on the edges. My concern for the church is the movement into the use of technology without the Spirit's leading. The worship movement of the 90's moved many people into an intimacy with God that was lacking, but church's who were not following the Spirit and were looking for the way to reach people through tweeking how they did worship, simply went out and bought equipment and let people have a go at sounding cool and in many places it was hallow. I am so grateful for technology b/c I find the best fellowship on-line sometimes, but I will be praying and encourage anyone else who reads this to do the same, that technology will not be used until there is leading to do so, not b/c it is bad, but b/c we have the chance to do things powerfully.
